Shape 10 at Blatobran Gallery
A group exhibition of members of the association that will show different approaches to working with ceramics. Collective exhibition “Shape 10” at the Blatobran Gallery in Belgrade showcases works that thematically promote the phenomenon of diversity as an advantage. years of research in the field of ceramics by members / artists of the Blatobran Gallery. Seeking for new possibilities for universal symbolic meanings, this exhibition addresses the pluralism of worlds and their pervasiveness, establishing different visions and narratives. By confronting the individual techniques and motifs that each author explores, the goal is to present an authentic and harmonious whole. By moving a traditional form of creation, such as ceramics, into a contemporary artistic concept, this art project promotes narratives that reveal specific forms and contents in installation, sculpture, and object. The exhibition aims to contribute to the importance of applied art in examining the specificity of different poetics and narratives, by bringing in particular relationships, connecting them and engaging in artwork, expanding media boundaries, and understanding relationships in the visual arts. Starting from the fact that these artists are now creating internationally and are recognized in much larger environments, this joint project opens the space for the first time to collectively present their works through the presentation of different poetics.
