Was born in 1979 in Rottenmann, Austria and currently lives in Vienna. He studied scenography, visual communication, and music theory at the University of Applied Arts Vienna, the National College of Art and Design in Oslo, and Berlin University of the Arts. Gruber works as an artist, writer and curator. Moreover, since 2015 he has curated exhibitions on a regular basis in the independent exhibition space gottrekorder e.v. in Graz.
